Poster, by Drew Millward.
This colorful painting is both a playful quotation of mainstream art (Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ masterpiece) and a street art & pop culture mashup as well. British illustrator Drew Millward’s work is defined by an accessible creepiness. He’s willing to include texture and detail, truly rendering images that test the confines of screen printing.

USS akron airship over Manhattan in the early 1930s.
This glamorous retro shot portrays the golden age of airship travel, ranging from The 1920s to the 1930s. The dirigibles - or as they were affectionately renamed ”flying cigars” - started to fill up both urban skylines and collective imagination.
Airship transportation became the epitome of luxury travel, shuttling the rich and powerful between Europe, South and North America until the Hindenburg tragedy in 1937, that shocked the world and marked the decay of those transport means.

Ball’s Pyramid.
This incredible mountain standing out in the middle of Pacific Ocean is an erosional remnant of a shield volcano and caldera that formed about 7 million years ago. It is 562 m (1844 ft) high, while measuring only 1100 m (3600 ft) in length and 300 m (1000 ft) across, making it the tallest volcanic stack in the world. The island is 20 km (13 miles) southeast of Lord Howe Island.
